NEWMARKET  : ROWLEY MILE  & JULY COURSE   ( Both tracks  are for flat racing )

        Located in West Suffolk, some ten miles from Cambridge.  Rowley Mile course

  can be reached via the A14, taking the A142 turnoff, then feeding through an industrial site, linking up with Hamilton Rd.  The July Course can be reached by the same method and is 4/ 5 miles out of town.  It can also be reached from the North by taking the A1303 which comes off the A11.  From the south ( A14), the July Course can be reached by taking the Newmarket turning and then turning left through the villages of Cheveley, Stetchworth and Woodditton.  A satnav would be useful fot this route.

    CHELMSFORD :   ALL WEATHER POLYTRACK                        ( Flat Racing )  

  Located in Essex between Chelmsford and Braintree on the A131. ( Great Leighs). Can be reached via the A12 taking the A130 at Chelmsford and heading towards Braintree on the A131.  From the North ( Colchester ), Take the A120 off the A12  heading towards Braintree. Turn left just before Braintree heading for the A131 and then follow the signs to the course.                                  SAT NAV :  CM3 1QP

     FAKENHAM      :   NATIONAL HUNT COURSE                            ( Jump Racing )

Fakenham is in North Norfolk, ten miles from the seaside town of Wells and can be reached from the North via the A148.  From the South,  the A1067 from the Norwich area.

From the Bury / Ipswich areas its best to take the A14 turning onto the A1088 then heading towards Thetford. A1065 to Swaffham then the course can be found just south of Fakenham at Hempton.            SAT NAV  :   NR 21 7NY

    GT. YARMOUTH  :   SEASIDE  FLAT COURSE                           ( Flat Racing )  

Great Yarmouth is on the east coast of Norfolk with the racecourse being a few miles north of the town at Caister.   Caister can be reached via the A47 from the Norwich area and via the A149 from more northern parts. From the south the A12 from Ipswich can be taken.  For punters to the west of Ipswich it would be best to take the A14 and then the A140 a and then onto the A143 at Diss, heading in the direction of Bungay and Beccles. Alternatively the A140 can be taken right up to Norwich and then the A47 will take you the rest of the way.                       SAT NAV  : NR 30 4EU

     HUNTINGDON     : NATIONAL HUNT COURSE                           ( Jump Racing )    

Huntingdon Racecourse is in Cambridgeshire and is reached from the south by the A14, being some ten miles north of  Cambridge.  The course is at Brampton a village just off the A141, west of Huntingdon town .  From the Peterborough area the A1 would be the best bet and from Chatteris, its the A141.
